remind you that I am going to Leesa's to housesit next week. This involves a roadtrip. Music. Companionship. Food. And then once there... Continued Companionship. Blogging. Scrapbooking. Bear Watching. Deer Watching. Animal Care. Hot Tubbing. Photography.
I must say, I am in desperate need of all of those things. Saturday cannot get here soon enough. Ellen arrives at around 9am. We will have brunch with the boy and let Ellen relax and stretch her legs. Then it's north!! North I tell you. Woooopiieeeeee.
I thought that was better than telling you that I am so disappointed and discouraged at my job. Ah, my boss is still well, anyway. I just don't think anything I am teaching is getting thru. I instruct a very simple thing. SIMPLE I tell you. Totally ignored. They obviously can't be bothered with anything I say. I love to teach but I guess....I love to teach the willing. The first thing a couple of folks said to me as they walked in the door this afternoon for an inservice was..."you better be done by five". Well, hello to you too. Glad you could make it....PITA! If it's such an imposition, carry your ungrateful *ss right out of this room.
Okay, I don't feel any better so it's best I move on.

I'm Pam and Bill.
We are DINKS with DOGS & CATS and chickens and turkeys.
Met on a blind date in October of 1993 and married in August of 1994. We have five dogs and two cats.
We live on about 122 or so acres in Southern Vermont. About 12 acres of pasture and the rest is woodland..

I feel the same way at work when I instruct them on the software for our database and no one seems to retain it because they think my class is a way to get out of their office.

LOL--"I love to teach the willing"--yeah, me too. We've had some days here lately where there haven't been any willing learners around either! : )
Do you realize I have to wake up at 4 to leave at 4:30 to get to the airport at 5 to leave at 6:30 to get to your place at 9? WHAT was I thinking? I may sleep for the first leg of the trip if that's ok.
Oooo Hot tubbing and photography!! Take me with you. I promise there'll be no bubbles.

I'm so excited for you and Ellen Pam! you guys are going to have so much fun. Take lots of pix, and try to forget all about that other place that is not making you happy as of late. Stacie
